Known Software Issues
Release version:
p:IGI+/Metis version 2.2.6
- At some font scalings (125% and above), only on some machines, we notice occasionally the count of excluded values on the graph data summary is being clipped. This is not an issue at standard scalings, and seems worse for some font families than others. If this is an issue set the font scaling in Windows to 100%.
- The “Sitka” font family does not work when copying graphs – it displays fine, but the graphs will not copy correctly. We advise users to not use this font family, which has some known issues in Windows
- When a lot of graphs are open at the same time, or after long use of p:IGI+ sometimes you get no points shown on a graph, and a text error message saying “E_OUTOFMEMORY: Ran out of memory (****)”. To address this save the project, close p:IGI+, restart, and open the project. We are still exploring the issue
- Occasionally when resizing graph windows the data view can pan unexpectedly. This is a rare event, and we have not yet been able to isolate a fix. If the original zoom extent is saved, then the user can recover to the desired view by opening graph manager (Ctrl+G) and selecting to restore the zoom
- Requires .NET 6.0.
p:IGI+/Metis version 2.1.4
- It is not possible to migrate .pigi projects to .pigi2 projects on network drives. Please update projects on a local drive. This will also be more performant.

p:IGI+/Metis version 1.28.7.0
- The “Sitka” font family does not work when copying graphs – it displays fine, but the graphs will not copy correctly. We advise users to not use this font family, which has some known issues in Windows.
We are still exploring the issue.
- When using pages, we are aware of an issue when using some 4K resolution displays, that results in being unable to edit values in cells. This appears to be a Windows issue and at present the only solution is to reduce the display resolution.
- Requires .NET framework version 4.8
- On first opening projects there will be delay, as the new and revised equations are calculated in the project. Once saved this will not repeat.
p:IGI+/Metis version 1.27.1.0
- The “Sitka” font family does not work when copying graphs – it displays fine, but the graphs will not copy correctly. We advise users to not use this font family, which has some known issues in Windows.
- When moving samples between wells in pages, and when deleting wells, the sample well information for samples which change well assignment is not updated dynamically. Closing and opening the page addresses this.
- Scrolling in a page after project merging in Transform with sort and a sample set applied can cause the page to fail. Clear, then re-apply the sort to address this.
- When a lot of graphs are open at the same time, or after long use of p:IGI+ sometimes you get no points shown on a graph, and a text error message saying “E_OUTOFMEMORY: Ran out of memory (****)”. To solve this save the project, close p:IGI+, restart, and open the project. We are still exploring the issue here.
p:IGI+/Metis Transform version 1.22.0.2
- When moving samples between wells in pages, and when deleting wells, the sample well information for samples which change well assignment is not updated. Closing and opening the page addresses this.
